Meet Dr. Ree

I’m Dr. Jeree Spicer; cybersecurity professional, cyberpsychology researcher, author, and founder of the ReeTheCyberBoss® digital ecosystem. Since 2019, I’ve dedicated my work to making technology human by blending cybersecurity, psychology, culture, and community care. Affectionately known as The Cyber Boss®, I use my expertise to translate complex digital threats into simple, relatable tools that empower adults, families, and communities to navigate the online world with confidence. With a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Cybersecurity, a background in child development and criminal justice, cyberpsychology, and years of experience supporting individuals and organizations, my mission is to break down the barriers that make cybersecurity feel intimidating or exclusive. I focus on the human side of tech; how our emotions, identity, behavior, and lived experiences shape our digital decisions. Through The Cyber Boss® platform, education, research, media, and culturally storytelling, I’m committed to redefining what cybersecurity looks like and making digital safety a shared responsibility rooted in representation, emotional intelligence, and community empowerment.
